STARE/WYTRZESZCZ are from Edinburgh and say they are just six ordinary guys who are angry with what they see outside the window every day and translate that into a furious sound … and the sound IS furious. And if you happen to like crust punk in the vein of DOOM (fast) and MISERY (slower) this is definitely your address. 10 crust tracks you can’t complain about. They have got all the necessary ingredients, sound and socio-political lyrics sung both in English and in Polish.
The band is quite active gigging in the UK at the moment and I hope to see them sooner than later either over there or over here. And even more hopes go for the full length LP. Fingers crossed. I want more.
