We haven’t heard a proper full-length from these Swedish hardcore legends since 2008. Instead, they occasionally throw a few EPs in our way, two of them being released in 2018: the split with BRISTLES and this one. However, a new LP is already in the pressing plant, entitled “Den Falske Kakaoinspektören”, hence this review. Prepare yourself for yet more Swedish hardcore soon. In the meantime…
“Bly, Skrot & Hagel” consists of 4 tracks in under 8 minutes, a proof RÖVSVETT in still in form. Short hardcore blasts with angry vocals in Swedish and sing-along choruses remind you why you love Swedish hardcore punk. Very intensive stuff, a proper Swedish assault. Definitely not to be missed.
